Cytoskeleton

Cytoskeleton is located in both plant and animal cells. Cytoskeltons have many jobs they have to maintain cells shape, protect the cell, it also enables cellualr motion. The cytoskelton aslo plays an important role in intracellular transport like the movement of organelles and cellular divison. The cytoskeleton works with alot of different organnalles because it connects to every organelle and every part of the cell membrane.
Microtubules

Microtubules are proteins that help maintain the cell structure and movement. They are thick strong spirals made of thousands of subunits. Microtubules also provide platfroms for transportation in the cells. It is also very important in other cellular processes. They are located in both plant and animal cells but most microtubules are located in the centrosome because it the major microtubule orgainzing center.
Microfilaments

Microfilaments are located in most cells and you can find them in every part of the cell. They are a partner to the microtubules. They are long thin stingy proteins. One of there most important jobs is to work with the microtubules to form the structure that allows a cell to move itself, move its organelles, and hold its shape.
Cilia & Flagella

Cilia’s and Flagella are located in all plant and animal cells. They both can be found on the capsule of the cell. Cilias are little hairs you might see on the outside of a protists. They flap to help the cell move. Flagella are long thick tails they whip and twirl pushing the cells along faster.
